BURSARIES AVAILABLE

The Centre for Health Studies is offering a $1,500 BURSARY to encourage individuals to consider a very rewarding career in the health care industry and to meet the demand of employers eager to hire Continuing Care Assistants.  The bursary is available to all CCA applicants, starting with the October 2010 class.

The provincial government also offers students applying to train as a Continuing Care Assistant access to a bursary of up to $4,000 by signing on with a healthcare provider for a period of guaranteed employment.

The demand for Continuing Care Assistants in today's healthcare system is growing and this new bursary program along with the bursary offered through the provincial government allows students to train for a great career with little investment and huge reward.
